Roasted Asiago with Hot Honey and Crispy Shallots

Imported Asiago, from Italy is sweet & nutty. We've roasted it until creamy and smooth and added a sweet and salty topping. It's the perfect party appetizer served with toasted Italian bread or crispy vegetables.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces Asiago cheese cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 cup pitted marinated mixed olives
  • Hot honey for serving
  • 1 tablespoon crispy shallots store-bought or homemade
  • 3 taralli crackers roughly crushed
  • Chopped fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Place Asiago slices, overlapping, in a small baking dish. Bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
    Top with olives and drizzle with honey. Garnish with crispy shallots, crushed crackers and basil. Serve and enjoy.
