Melted Onions with Imported French Gruyere

These easy-but-elegant, lightly caramelized onions roast to perfection in a basic muffin tin! A generous topping of melted imported Gruyère cheese adds an incredible nutty flavor. We love these to top salads, use in a savory tart, or as a side dish for roast chicken or steak.
