Imported Emmental and Beer Fondue
Nutty Imported Emmental fondue spiked with crisp beer will really get the party started.
- 1 clove of garlic smashed
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 bottle of crisp beer like a hoppy lager or IPA
- 1 tbsp dry mustard
- 16 oz Imported Emmental Cheese shredded
- Fresh ground pepper
- Place smashed garlic in medium size fondue pot. In a small bowl, whisk beer and cornstarch until there are no lumps. Pour into fondue pot. Once beer starts to warm, stir in dry mustard and slowly add shredded cheese. Stir continuously until cheese is melted and smooth. Remove garlic, add fresh ground pepper. Serve immediately.
Serve with soft pretzel nuggets, apple slices and grilled knockwurst or sausage.
