German Obatzda with imported Butterkase and Munster
Meet your new favorite fall party dip! Obatzda is a traditional Bavarian cheese spread made with a blend of butter, imported cheeses, and seasonings. This staple of Bavarian beer gardens and popular snack during Oktoberfest couldn’t be easier to make!. Our delicious version uses a creamy, nutty mix of imported cow’s milk Butterkase and Munster cheeses for a smooth, rich flavor. The name “Obatzda” comes from the Bavarian word "obatzter," meaning "mashed" or "mixed".
